On a daily basis, I do a lot of networking with a wide variety of individuals to tell them about my business, Schoder Creative Services, LLC. On one of those ventures out while networking, I met a gentlemen by the name of Radi Shafie at a Synergy Networking event.
Shafie, an Avatar Master, introduced himself to me and was interested in learning more about what I do. A little time had past and I sent him an e-mail inviting him to coffee at a chain coffee house. This opportunity allowed me to get to know him and what he does and vise versa. After this conversation, I got thinking, he told me that the intro Avatar course was free to try to see if it was right for me. After learning about it, I found out I really wanted to try it.
Avatar, as I understand it, is a look into your own deep beliefs that will cause you as the person to create or attract situations and events that you will experience in your life. The goal of the course is to guide you to exploration of your own belief system and to equip you with the tools you need to change those things in your life that need changing. So when I started to try it, I found out it was very deep.
My experience with Avatar was one of curiosity. The question I began to ask myself was, “Is this thing for real?” My answer to that was a very loud yes.
You may ask why I say that. First, you have to be, at least in my opinion a very strong person or open-minded in order to attempt to do this. I say this because Radi (my Avatar Master) told me that if your not, you may not like what you see and you may not be able to deal with it. So bottom line, this isn’t for everyone.
I, on the other hand found out something very simple in this session with Radi. What is it you may ask? Well, it is the fact that family is the number one thing in my life. So as a result, it gave me tools to make sure that it continues to be that way.
So, in all reality what has this taught me? You must always open your mind to other experiences, so that you maybe able to experience the world correctly. I think this holds true for public relations and marketing because if your not an “out of the box thinker” you won’t be able to make the positive impression the way that your looking to make it.
On a side note, go have a discussion with my friend, Radi Shafie, you will be glad you did as he is an interesting fellow.
